From May 5th to 9th, the in-person component of the Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Making BIPs Work, organised by the International Relations Office of the Polytechnic University of Tomar, was held.
This event was organised in partnership with the following universities: D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics (Bulgaria), Valahia University of Târgovi?te (Romania), Södertörn University (Sweden), University of South Bohemia in ?eské Bud?jovice (Czech Republic), Trnava University in Trnava (Slovakia), University of Camerino (Italy), University of Greifswald (Germany), Adana Alparslan Türke? Science and Technology University (Turkey), Opole University of Technology (Poland), Palacký University Olomouc (Czech Republic), and University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (Romania).
Over the week, while using dynamic methodologies such as the World Café, academic and international relations staff from the partner universities had the opportunity to enlarge their knowledge of the organisation of this type of intensive programme, exchange best practices, identify solutions, and define strategies aimed at enhancing the quality of BIP implementation.
The programme also featured the participation of the Erasmus+ National Agency for Education and Training, represented by Dr. Ana Fialho, who led the workshop Getting to Know the BIPs Rules. Additionally, the event benefited from the involvement of Erasmus coordinators, technical and academic staff from our laboratories, and student testimonials, all of which contributed to the overall quality and success of the initiative.
The event concluded with a celebration of Europe Day, together with the international students from the Erasmus Centro Consortium.
