On February 7th, we participated in an online session of a Focus Group, of the project Erasmus KA2 YouThink – Responsible Youth through Media Literacy Education (WP2).

A group of professionals discussed the theme and aimed to identify tools that promote media literacy in young people between 14 and 19 years old.

The instructor and coordinator of the Media Studies bachelor in ESTA/IPT, Hália Santos, moderated the debate that had the participation of Raquel Botelho (instructor in ESTA/IPT), Inês Câmara (instructor IPT), Jerónimo Belo Jorge (Jornal de Abrantes journalist), João Pedro Fonseca (Escola Lusa project), Madalena Diogo (Expressinho project and Media Literacy for the Impresa group), and Nuno Garcia Lopes, writer and literacy promoter.

This activity was promoted and organized by LIED, as a partner of the project, represented by Célio G. Marques (coordinator), António Manso and Hélder Pestana (investigators).
