The Transnational meeting of the YouThink project

 

The transnational meeting of the YouThink project – Responsible Youth through Media Literacy Education (Project 2024-1-LT02-KA220-YOU-000251256) – took place at the Polytechnic University of Tomar.

 

On March 20th and 21st, the results of the focus groups and surveys previously conducted in each partner country were analyzed and discussed. Additionally, visits were made to the ESTA laboratories and to the Nuno de Santa Maria School Cluster.

 

The international YouThink project (Media and Information Literacy for Youth) is funded by the Erasmus+ Cooperation Programme and involves partners from Lithuania, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy, and Switzerland. Its main objective is to address the needs of young people in the field of media literacy. The project aims to develop training materials, implement pilot training sessions, and generate a lasting impact on both young people and the professionals who work with them.

 

The IPT team is composed by Célio Gonçalo Marques (Coordinator), Hélder Pestana, and António Manso from LIED.IPT, and Rosa Nico from the International Relations Office.
