On September 24th, the third day of the in-person component of the BIP "Pedagogical Innovation: Rethinking Education for Tomorrow" took place.
The day was dedicated to the theme: Game On! Leveraging gamification for engaging and effective education.
In the morning, the workshop "Gamification Insights: Concepts and Methodologies" was held with Professor Célio Gonçalo Marques, Provost for Internationalization and Pedagogical Innovation at the Polytechnic of Tomar, and the workshop "Digital Tools for Gamification" with Samsun Ba?arici – Professor and Researcher in the Department of Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at Adnan Menderes University, Turkey.
In the afternoon, the workshop "The Application of Gamification Strategies" was held with Inês Araújo, Project Manager at the Laboratory of Pedagogical Innovation and Distance Learning at the Polytechnic of Tomar. In the late afternoon, participants had the opportunity to visit the Convent of Christ, on a guided tour led by researcher João Paulo Pedro.
The day concluded with a networking dinner.
