Objectives 

1. Increase the interest in architectural heritage, promoting awareness of the need to preserve it;

2. Identify the main types of rocks and types of mortars used in ancient construction in Portugal, the most common pathologies and causes of degradation

3. Critically evaluate different interventions in architectural heritage

4. Execute conservation and restoration interventions in the architectural heritage

5. Write and present a conservation and restoration intervention.

Methods and outcomes

Use of innovative forms of learning and teaching, research and knowledge acquisition based on real challenges, combining physical and virtual components.

Promote autonomy in the area of conservation and restoration of architectural heritage.

Develop diagnostic work, intervention proposals and the conservation of architectural heritage.

Prepare reports and presentations on conservation and restoration interventions in architectural heritage.
